Jerome H. Franklin, MD is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with over 30
years of clinical experience which includes individual psychotherapy,
conjoint therapy and forensic evaluation. He has extensive experience
in Workers Comp evaluation and treatment of injured workers. He is
certified as a QME and has performed AME, IME and Fitness For Duty
evaluations. When requested, he has performed cross examination
testimony in court.
Dr. Franklin served as the psychiatric consultant to the Los Angeles
Orthopedic Hospital and Hemophilia Society for 25 years. In addition,
he was a psychiatric consultant at Vista Del Mar Child Care Center and
served as a post-earthquake psychiatric consultant to the Marvin
Avenue Elementary School from 1994-1998.
Early in his career, Dr. Franklin was a psychiatric consultant at Los
Angeles County USC Medical Center, teaching first year residents
admission and evaluation techniques. More recently, Dr. Franklin has
been on the traumatic injury panel for the MTA since 1995. As such,
he has gained extensive experience with Post-Traumatic Stress
Disorder. A large part of his current practice is drug therapy.
